Mark Richardson – Mr. Richardson is president and CEO of JMR Capital, Inc, a mergers and acquisitions firm located in Anaheim Hills, CA. He works directly and confidentially with business owners to assist them in the sale of their companies.

In addition to managing JMR Capital, Inc., he and his firm are strategic partners of IAAS Worldwide. Responsible for business development and local site management, the company represents IAAS in the western United States.

Richardson and his company are experienced and have been brokering transactions since 1982. They are best known for their extensive list of financially qualified buyers. These ready, willing, and able buyers include companies looking for entire plants, divisions of Fortune 500 firms, and purchasing agents seeking capital equipment.

Richardson knows that working with IAAS offers valuable alternatives for asset sellers. Not all businesses are candidates for a traditional M&A process and often times an asset buyout or auction scenario is an ideal solution for companies that need to be sold quickly. If a company has no legitimate buyers in the first 60 days of marketing, liquidation and auction alternatives should seriously be considered.

A graduate with a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame (1972), Richardson earned his MBA in accounting from the California State University, and went on to obtain his Certified Management Accounting credential (CMA) in 1982. In 1987, Richardson obtained certification in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California. In 2005, the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors awarded Richardson the prestigious designation “Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor.”

Richardson is also a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser.

As a licensed California real estate broker, Richardson understands what it takes to get a building into marketable condition after a plant closing or auction. His clients quickly discover that they can rely on his experience to handle the complete asset recovery project from concept to completion.
